It is important to exercise. Walking is an appropriate exercise for you. Whenever possible, avoid standing up for long periods of time. When you sit down, try to raise your legs and rest them on an ottoman. A diet rich in calcium and potassium could help you with cramps. Bananas, grapefruits, oranges and sesame seeds are rich in potassium.
