Your breasts are large and very sensitive. It is a symptom that you have experienced since the very beginning of your pregnancy. The areola is darker in color and the glands of Montgomery (sebaceous glands that make oily secretions to keep the areola and the nipple lubricated and protected) become more prominent and more numerous. For women with fair skin, the veins become more visible on the surface of breast and surrounding areas. You can also experience a period of emotional upset and find that you easily shed tears. You may experience symptoms that are similar to those of premenstrual syndrome (PMS).
