You feel bloated. Indigestion and bloating are frequent during pregnancy. A slowed digestive process causes these symptoms, but it allows your body to better absorb the nutrients that are essential for your baby’s tissue building.
You can alleviate these symptoms by wearing loose-fitting clothes, eating smaller quantities of food, but more often during the day, chewing food longer and avoiding fatty foods. Although uncomfortable, this situation should not prevent you from having a healthy diet.
